KEMENTERIAN Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) melalui Direktorat Jenderal Kebudayaan menyelenggarakan Pekan Kebudayaan Nasional (PKN) mulai 7-13 Oktober 2019 di Istora Gelora Bung Karno, Jakarta.
Kegiatan ini merupakan pelaksanaan dari salah satu strategi pemajuan kebudayaan yang disepakati dalam Kongres Kebudayaan Indonesia 2018 lalu, yaitu menyediakan ruang bagi keberagaman ekspresi budaya dan mendorong interaksi antar-kebudayaan yang beragam di Indonesia.
Sekolah Daya Pelita Kasih tak mau ketinggalan untuk ikut merayakan PKN lewat Pentas Inklusi Komunitas Kapal Cinta, menampilkan performing art dan visual art. Kegiatan ini untuk menciptakan ruang bersama di antara berbagai macam unsur masyarakat termasuk masyarakat inklusi.
Sekolah DPK dengan bangga menjadi salah satu pengisi acara music performance menampilkan angklung dan vocal dengan membawa 5 buah lagu antara lain lagu; Nusantaraku, Sapa Suruh Datang Jakarta, Malam Minggu, Tanah Airku, dan Hamba Bernyanyi.
Di Pekan Kebudayaan Nasional sendiri bukan hanya menampilkan seni pertunjukan, melainkan juga ada pameran, forum diskusi, permainan rakyat, dan lomba. Kegiatan tahunan yang didahului dari tingkat kabupaten atau kota, dilanjutkan di tingkat provinsi. Untuk tahun ini, peserta yang mengikuti PKN berasal dari 26 provinsi, dan diharapkan tahun depan bisa bertambah sampai 34 provinsi di seluruh Indonesia. [red]
